RIS' request was to identify 40 entrepreneurs with more or less touristic affiliation  within the townships of the Greater Stellenbosch area. The data was gathered to create a map to promote alternative tourism. The original idea of a foldaway printed map with photo-gallery was then replaced by a websitewhich was further developed by RIS in cooperation with ViaVia Travellers Cafés and Belgian touroperator Joker. The selection below are the initial photographs and data-cards and some preliminary sketches for the project.
