Dutch Africa Tour Operator Fons Verhulst and local entrepreneur David Molorane wanted hand-painted monumental murals of SA-icons Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu for their township restaurant-initiative Batho's Place in Langrug, Franschhoek. I chose to add great artist and true activist Myriam Makeba.
