LE REPAS DES MOISSONNEURS after the painting of the same name by Jean-François Millet. The mural was part of the selection of artworks for the 2015 edition of the Mandelart triennial in Oostrozebeke, West Flanders. The vacant industrial building which served as a temporary museum is known in the region as the Phoenix, a former jeans' factory which moved its production in the 2000's to a low wage Asian country. The traditional biblical harvest scene and the use of natural materials play with the industrial location and architecture and the priorities of globalized economic efficiency.
