A commission for a mural on a blank asbestos clad wall in the historical city center of Ghent in Belgium. In consultation with the client the idea emerged to anticipate on the asbestos cladding diamond pattern through a design which either depicted a pixelated detail of the Ghent Altarpiece by Jan Van Eyck or else the shrubs of a pangolin.
